Chasing Gold: The Promise and Pitfalls of Optimisation

General abstract submission

Multiple speakers will be invited to present in parallel sessions. Are you interested in sharing your experiences with a practical business application which talks about the Theme of Statistics and Operational Research? Or looking for an opportunity to present your research on a topic that fits the theme. We invite you to submit your proposals by December 31, 2025.

Proposals should include:

• Preferred format of presentation
• Title of your presentation
• A management summary of your topic (max. 250 words)
• A brief biography of the presenter(s), including name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information.

All submissions will be reviewed by our organizing committee. We will notify you of the outcome by January 31, 2026. Additionally, a summary of your presentation will be posted on the VVSOR website and printed in STAtOR.

Call for Abstracts – Flash Presentations for Early Career Researchers

Are you a PhD candidate or Master’s student in Statistics or Operations Research in the Netherlands? Share your work at the VVSOR Annual Meeting 2026!

The Flash Presentation Session offers early career researchers a chance to present their projects in a 3-minute talk with one PowerPoint slide. It’s a great opportunity to showcase your research, gain feedback, and connect with the Dutch Statistics and OR community.
