The Department of Mathematics at Aarhus University – an international top-100 University – seeks candidates, characterized by excellence and vision in their research, for 1-2 Tenure Track Assistant Professor/Associate Professor position in data science and statistics.

The positions are available from 1 January 2021.

A successful candidate should have:

• An excellent record of original scientific contributions in statistics and/or data science.
• A documented ability and interest in taking responsibility for teaching courses within data science and/or statistics.
• Demonstrated the ability both for collaborative and independent research.
• A clear potential for obtaining external funding for research activities.
