A PhD Position is available in the group Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Programming (DMMP) at the University of Twente (UT, Enschede, Netherlands). For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate who has recently acquired or will shortly acquire an MSc degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics or a related field. A solid background in Discrete Optimization, Theoretical Computer Science, Online Optimization, Approximation Algorithms or Mechanism Design is highly appreciated but not a must.
The position is fully funded for four years in accordance with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for Universities (CAO).
