De Open Universiteit is een kleine universiteit in Heerlen voor afstandsonderwijs.
Binnen de sectie Methodologie en Statistiek van de faculteit Psychologie is een vacature voor een UHD.
Taken
De taak omvat het aansturen van het sectiepersoneel bij hun onderzoek, het initiëren van onderzoek door het aanvragen van onderzoekssubsidies en het ondersteunen en verder ontwikkelen van de onderzoekspractica in het bachelor curriculum.
Vereisten
De kandidaat moet vertrouwd zijn met de moderne statistische tools die in de sociale wetenschappen worden gebruikt, zoals multilevel-analyse en longitudinale analyses. Hij / zij moet veel ervaring hebben met R en goed op de hoogte zijn van Open Science principes.

The Open University is a small university in Heerlen (the very south of the Netherlands) for distance education.
Within the Methodology and Statistics section of the Psychology faculty there is a position vacant for an associate professor.
Tasks
The task will contain managing the section staff in their research, initiating research by applying for research grants, and supporting and further developing the research training courses in the bachelor curriculum.
Requirements
The candidate should be familiar with the modern statistical tools used in the social sciences, such as multilevel analysis and longitudinal analyses. He/she should have much experience in R and be well aware of Open Science principles.
