We invite applications for faculty appointments at the level of tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of statistics at the Department of Economics and Business, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, to begin September 2021.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. (or should be near completion of their doctoral studies), and should have a demonstrated potential for research excellence  in Statistics, Probability or related fields.

Deadline for application is March 1, 2021.

A successful candidate will become part of an active Statistics group in the diverse Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, which is consistently ranked in the top 5 of European economics schools. The Data Science Center and the Master’s Program in Data Science provides additional opportunities to get involved in statistics related activities. Knowledge of Catalan or Spanish is not a requirement.
