The Mathematical Institute of Utrecht University has a vacancy for an Assistant Professor in the Mathematical Modeling. The position entails roughly 50% teaching and 50% research. We welcome applications from the broad area of mathematical modeling with a focus on real-world applications. This includes statistics, uncertainty quantification, data analysis, signal processing, (mathematical foundations of) machine learning, and dynamical systems.
