The afternoon will consist of talks by attendees. All are welcome to give a talk. If you are interested in giving a talk, please indicate so in the registration form below. The goal of the students sessions is to give everyone the opportunity to present their work and to generate a discussion on common issues and pitfalls in research. To keep everyone interested, we ask to prepare a short non-technical presentation of your work, which can also be understood by a non-statistical audience. Please include one slide with a couple of questions/discussion points for the audience about your work. This can be anything from advice on methodology or programming (if you are looking for tips on a specific R-package for example), or on the presentation itself.
De Waver is located in the Hospital Building of the VU medical centre (Address: De Boelelaan 1117, 1081 HV Amsterdam). Enter through the main entrance, walk straight ahead past the reception and the elevators, then immediately turn right where you see a sign for the Amstelzaal and De Waver. After about 15m turn left at the sign for the Amstelzaal and continue walking until you see the sign for De Waver on your left. At the sign, take the stairs down to De Waver.
Please register for the event through the form below. The meeting is free (lunch included) for all attendees, both members of BMS-ANed and non-member. Note that PhD students can join the Dutch region of IBS (ANed) on our membership page.
