A 2-year postdoc position is available at the University of Amsterdam, jointly at the Amsterdam Business School and the Korteweg-de Vries Institute for Mathematics.

We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in mathematics, operations research, econometrics, or theoretical computer science (or near completion of a PhD), with strong mathematical skills, and preferably with experience in analyzing online learning algorithms, multi-armed bandit problems, statistical estimators, stochastic approximation schemes, or learning in repeated games. During the postdoc project we aim to write a high-quality publication on the topic of self-learning price algorithms that form price cartels; a highly relevant and challenging topic. The starting date is flexible, and preferably as soon as possible.
